GRAPE VARIETY
80% Touriga Nacional
20% Tinta Roriz
Touriga Nacional, the majority of our vine varieties, and Tinta Roriz, which adds complexity, elegance and structure to the whole, grow on slopes between 350 and 400 meters in altitude.
The vineyard is managed within an integrated protection program, and the application of herbicides is prohibited.
The harvest is manual, when they reach the optimum point of maturation, situated in the 2nd fortnight of September and the 1st of October.
The harvest is done in small boxes of 10 kg.
VINIFICATION
These wines are obtained after fermentation at controlled temperature in order to preserve all the aromatic elegance, in wooden vats and stainless steel vats for 20 days.
The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and is then aged for 18 months in order to enhance its structure and complexity.
