Released in 2013, Black Bottle Blended Scotch whiskey now features a balanced blend of fruity flavor and spices alongside the peaty notes of Islay for which the brand is known.
This change in direction is a return to the Black Bottle's past, as they say it was inspired by what whiskey was like when it was made in 1879.
It also inspired the new old-style black glass bottle, which gave the name to whiskey.
