For the first time at "Dos Lusíadas", Michel Chapoutier harvested the white grapes of the new Eleivera wine on the 17th of August 2017.
These white grapes Rabigato, Gouveio, Códega do Larinho and Viosinho display lovely tension and intense floral aromas.
The vineyards of Cima Corgo, in the Douro, planted mainly in granite arenas with varying depths, resulting in a wine that displays a good character and tension on the palate.
One of the plots is composed of shale, which adds smoothness to this assemblage.
Summers are hot and dry and winters are cold and wet.
Color : elegant, pale yellow flecked with green.
Nose : Fresh and fruity aromas of peaches and pears with citrus notes.
Mouth : clean and fresh on entry, with noticeable volume on the mid-palate.
The finish is broad and tense with citrus aromas.
