This impressive Cromas elevates the Carmenère grape to an exclusive level of quality.
The Los Vascos technical team, together with the Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), identified a terroir with ideal conditions for Chile's most emblematic grape, right at the foot of the Cordillera de los Andes.
The perfectly ripe grapes fully absorb the 12 months in oak barrels, resulting in a powerful, complex wine full of ripe fruit notes.
"One of the best buys" for James Suckling who scored this vintage with 91 points.
TASTING NOTES
Intense purple-tinged color
On the nose, the wine reveals aromas of fruits such as blackberry, plum and black cherry that gradually evolve with hints of white pepper and herbaceous notes characteristic of this variety.
In the mouth the tannins are soft, silky with a pleasant balance between density and acidity.
