PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES
Produced exclusively with selected Montepulciano grapes and hand-picked in mid-October in the Talamonti vineyards, covering around 25 hectares in the heart of Abruzzo at the foot of the Gran Sasso hills. The separation and crushing of the grapes and the alcoholic fermentation for 14 days are followed by malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels (Allier and Troncais). The wine ages in 300 liter French oak barrels for twelve months. Then it is aged in a bottle for 12 months.
