Rare, like a white blackbird!
A dry white Bordeaux
A wine appreciated for its freshness and minerality!
TASTING NOTES
Merle Blanc de Château Clarke 2022 presents a delicate first nose, with subtle aromas of white flowers and juicy pear mixed with aromas of white pepper.
After aeration, more mineral and mentholated notes complete a bouquet of great complexity.
The palate is broad, oily, perfectly supported by a beautiful vivacity. The wine is long and ends with a fine woody touch that testifies to perfectly controlled aging.
Château Clarke is one of the rare properties in the Médoc that produces white wine.
Merle Blanc, much appreciated by connoisseurs, has been present in the Château's history since 1898.
Baron Edmond made a point of resurrecting this tradition. Today, this rare wine fits perfectly into the spirit of the property.
A fair and elegant wine!
