The famous Pinot Grigio grape has been known since the Middle Ages in the Burgundy region and comes from a mutation of Pinot Noir buds.
Our superb plot is located in the northeast region of Veneto, home to Italy's most popular white wine. The name comes from one of the most important rivers in our region, born at almost 2,000 meters above sea level at the foot of the Gran Sasso.
After fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature, the wine rests for 2 months before bottling.
Its silky texture is smooth and extremely elegant with delicate tones of melon, orange blossom and mango.
VARIETY: Pinot Grigio (100%)
SOIL: Rocky, structured and drained. Limestone. Altitude: 300 mt. above sea level.
VINIFICATION: After a careful selection of the grapes at the end of August, the grape stalks are removed and a short cold maceration of crushed grapes in stainless steel is applied. Subsequently, a gentle pressing takes place followed by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeast for 10 days to preserve 100% natural Pinot Grigio fruit and the inimitable freshness of the wine.
COLOR: Pale straw with light green tones.
NOSE: Intense bouquet of white fruit, including ripe golden apples and pearsscheda.
MOUTH: On the palate, notes of refreshing apple and peach end with a smooth acidity. A round, slightly floral wine with a fullness and spice that is very appealing.
