An historic harvest.
An exceptional drought, as it has not happened since 1976, generated extremely low yields and, above all, strong concentrations in grapes and juice full of aromas.
A great wine was the inevitable result.
Château Palmer 2005 is one of the great efforts of this superlative harvest.
Floral notes mixed with blackberry, cassis, plum, licorice and spring flowers rise from the glass of this dense ruby / purple wine.
It is medium to full-bodied, surprisingly opulent (it has a large percentage of Merlot), long, multidimensional and textured. This wonderfully pure and stunning wine.
It should drink well over the next 20-25 years.
Drink between 2015-2040.
