A Cleo rosé de saignee cuvée with a limited production of 2,160 copies, a selection of three parcels of old vineyards where Pinot Meunier reigns.
A wine characterized by a sparkling color, frank pink with clear reflections.
Red fruit notes dominate (currant, raspberry, cherry).
Sharp and vinous attack, good balance, meaty and impressive finish that would go very well with a Rossini tournedos and some truffles, wild boar fillet with pepper sauce or game birds and some pink Champagne lentils.
Cuvée Cléo rosé ” by saignee - 100% Pinot Meunier
To produce the Cuvée Cléo saiignée rosé, our Cellar Master Laurent Etienne has deliciously selected several very old parcels of Pinot Meunier, an archetypal Champagne type of grape.
This wine is produced only in years when the harvest is at its best and in small quantities (2,000 to 3,000 bottles).
Proving that it's like diving into a basket of perfectly ripe red fruits, supported by delicate notes of spice.
A wine with a strong personality, out of the ordinary.
