CARPANO DRY - THE REMARKABLE NEW ITALIAN VERMOUTH
Carpano Dry has its origins in a traditional recipe enriched with the experience of Distilleria Branca through its choice and use of raw materials, its respect and consideration for tradition through innovation and with the contribution of Luca Gardini, many times World Champion of Sommelier.
ORIGINS
"Carpano Dry" is the name of the new Carpano vermouth.
It has a drier flavor and a lower sugar content than other vermouths. The product has its origins in the history of Carpano, enriched with the experience of the Branca brand in the choice and use of raw materials. In fact, the most valuable Italian wines are chosen to make this vermouth, helping the finished product to maintain its organoleptic properties for a long time, thanks also to the purification and standardization phases and strict quality controls.
DIFFERENTIATED INGREDIENTS
Among the official plants, the absinthe used in Carpano products is grown in Italy and harvested in unpolluted mountainous areas, making it more expensive due to the difficulty of acquiring it and its popularity among producers. A special ingredient in dry Carpano is Dittany de Crete: a herbaceous plant from the island of Crete that gives the product the typical flavor so valued by bartenders. Carpano Dry is identified by its ingredients of distinct qualities that, like other Carpano products, characterize the best known cocktails, thanks to the prestige of the "First Vermouth".
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Carpano Dry is a vermouth with a light color, yet vibrant and shiny like platinum. And, like platinum, Carpano Dry retains its characteristics over time, thanks to the distinctive ingredients in its recipe and the quality of the Fratelli Branca Distillery production processes.
Its aroma is characterized by a balanced and well-structured richness, without crushing the aromas: candied fruits, spices, coriander, incense, lemon essential oil. It's the "winy" slightly acidic flavor of Vermouth that appears, initially, followed by an interesting, fresh, balsamic note, which remains as a final note: citrus fruits and green apple.
