The Tuscan winery founded in 2000 by the charismatic Bibi Graetz has achieved cult status over the last twenty years.
The winery has many enthusiasts with its idiosyncratic wines and artistic labels. This also includes the international mill, which now annually awards very high marks to the best Colore and Testamatta wines.
Ansonica grapes come from the island of Isola del Giglio, located off the coast of Tuscany.
The soils here are poor and contain a lot of granite. The sea breeze significantly influences the climate. The grape has different names, namely Inzolia - Insolia - Ansonica.
The Inzolia grape is an authentic grape and one of the oldest in Sicily.
Around 1600, the grape was also transferred to the Tuscan islands of Elba and Giglio.
In these regions, the grapes are better known as Ansônica.
In the glass, Bibi Graetz Scopeto Bianco has a pale yellow color with white flower and anise on the nose.
After stirring we could smell aromas of pear, lemon and a light salty flavor.
This happy Tuscan white wine is vigorous and refreshing with mineral notes.
