Amaro Lucano was born in 1894, the result of a secret recipe that the Vena family passed on from generation to generation.
Thanks to the skillful blend of more than 30 herbs, Amaro Lucano gives us a strong flavor, ideal for all occasions.
These herbs are sourced from all over the world and are artemisia absinthium and artemisia pontica (both wormwood), sage sclarea (sage), musk yarrow, cnicus (holy thistle), bitter orange, gentian, angelica, elderberry sambucus, ruta, aloe and oil cinnamon essential oil, among others.
They are then dried, crushed and mixed.
Amaro Lucano was born to be enjoyed neat, chilled, with ice or with orange peel.
Amaro Lucano is spicy and herbaceous, with a good balance of sweet and bitter, a hint of red berries and some subtle absinthe flavors.
Excellent as a base for cocktails.
