Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc presents a pale yellow color with glints of green, very characteristic of the variety.
Aromas of melon, green apple, pineapple, and lime are underscored by spicy, herby notes such as lemongrass and lemon verbena.
On the palate, this wine reveals great volume and structure.
Los Vascos’ Sauvignon Blanc is made from grapes purchased on long term contracts with growers in the Casablanca Valley.
The vintages all offer very pure fruit and a lively, refreshing palate.
This wine has remarkable aromatic expression in the bouquet with lemon, grapefruit and exotic fruit enhanced by the characteristic boxwood aroma of the Sauvignon
Domaines Barons de Rothschild acquired Viña Los Vascos in 1988, animated by a pioneering spirit and with the vision to reveal the potential of this exceptional land.
Today we cultivate a common dream and project : to turn our vast land into a rich ecosystem producing the most elegant Chilean wines.
Stretching from the Coastal range to the foothills of the Andes mountains, Colchagua’s Mediterranean climate and privileged terroirs have made it a place of choice to produce quality wines in Chile.
Los Vascos estate lies at the foothills of the coastal range, 200km South West of Santiago, in the cooler part of Colchagua where the vines benefit from the natural cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean.
