Chivas 12 is smooth, rich and generous. It is a blend of the finest malt and grain whiskeys, matured for at least 12 years, featuring luxurious notes of honey, vanilla and ripe apple. Because, like life, whiskey is better if it's a blend.

For James Chivas, there were two fundamental principles to the mix: "old, matured raw material and a distinct Speyside flavor". Master Blender Colin Scott subscribes to these principles today, with whiskeys that are at least 12 years old and a generous dose of Speyside malt.

The humble hull is center stage in creating the perfect blend. Sherry casks impart a rich color to the whiskey, while bourbon casks give it a more golden hue. But it's all in the mix. Combining these individual characteristics to create the unique personality found in every bottle of Chivas.

COLOR
Intense and radiant amber.

AROMA
An aromatic infusion of wild plants, heather, honey and orchard fruits.

TASTE
Round and creamy with a full, rich flavor of honey and ripe pears, with hints of vanilla, hazelnut and caramel.

END OF MOUTH
Rich and persistent.
